Atlanta: the Mecca of Music in the South, and this weekend is no exception. Shaky Knees Festival (May 4th & 5th) will host Band of Horses, The Lumineers, and about 2 dozen more buzz-worthy bands and artists. Gladys Knight will be serenading fans at Wolf Creek Amphitheater on Friday night.  And if you’re looking for something more intimate, pop into Drunken Unicorn, Smith’s Olde Bar, Eddies Attic, The Earl, or Vinyl – they always have something great stewing.

 
 
 
Friday, May 3rd-Assembly of Dust at Smiths Olde Bar
This jam band made from former Strangefolk frontman, has been hit nearly every major festival including Bonnaroo, to Newport, to Wakarusa. With that kind of experience AOD will be shaking Smiths Olde Bar with the kind of performance only they can give. They released their newest album earlier this year in February, so don’t miss their show for new tunes!
