What’s Up Thursday?

-The residents of Alpharetta are gonna be bouncing in their khaki shorts as Cleveland’s favorite hip-hop son, Kid Cudi, blows out the speakers with his musical wizardry at the Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre. Joining him on stage is Chip Tha Ripper.

– The Mayor of Little Five Points, AKA Team Luis, presents his FREE show at the Star Bar with performances from How I Became The Bomb, Cousin Dan, Darling Norman.

-The pretty people will be at the W Downtown’s DRINKSHOP Live! presented by BMI featuring Kree Woods & Ben Deignan. Two semi-finalists from the “Know Them Now” Facebook contest will open up the show at 9 p.m., followed by Kree Woods at 9:30 p.m. and Ben Deignan at 10:30 p.m. Enjoy drink specials and custom cocktails crafted by DRINKSHOP, including $5 import beers and $6 Old Fashioneds. Complimentary valet parking is offered to patrons with a $20 tab.

-The “greener” folks will be at The Five Spot, where local act Parker Smith and the Bandwith, and will jamming out with Flearoy, The Seux Effect, and Saltwater Grass. $8 tix at the door.

-Over at Halo, the Renegade Atlanta Artist Wurks (R.A.A.W.), a collective of urban artists, DJs and other creatives, will be showcasing their talent with, DJs spinning hip-house, dubstep and minimal techno, as well as an art exhibition.
