Dallas Moore, Cody Bolden and Atlanta’s own The Waymores are heading to Star Community Bar on Thursday, November 12 for Barebones and Barstools, a stripped-down night of country songs, stories and acoustic sets.
The idea is pretty simple: take away the full-band production and put the focus back on the songs.
Dallas Moore headlines the show, bringing his road-worn take on traditional country to Little Five Points. Georgia singer-songwriter Cody Bolden joins the bill with a mix of country, Southern rock and Americana.
Rounding out the night are The Waymores, Atlanta husband-and-wife duo Kira Annalise and Willie Heath Neal. The pair have toured extensively in the U.S., U.K. and Europe and released their latest album, The Knot, earlier this year.
For this one, all three acts are keeping things intentionally simple: acoustic instruments, road stories and songs front and center.
Or, as the poster puts it: “Cheap beer. Good songs. No bull.”
