Former Black Lips & Diamond Rugs guitarist Ian Saint Pé has been touring recently with his eponymously titled new project Saint Pé (featuring former members of Turf War, Gringo Star, Zoners and Concord America), sharing bills with friends such as Dead Confederate’s T. Hardy Morris, Natural Child & Bobby Bare, Jr.

Saint Pé was featured as Artist of the Day at the newly revamped (and more music-focused) Myspace.

About his new band’s no-frills rock & roll sound, Saint Pé told Myspace, “We are not trying to reinvent the wheel. We are just trying to put shiny new rims on it.”

The band currently has a new single “Street Lights” out via Soundcloud, and they working on their anticipated debut release, coming in 2016.

In the meantime, Saint Pé is closing out 2015 with a trio of Southeast dates in North Carolina, Atlanta (Dec. 11) and Alabama.
