His extremely popular band Something Corporate is on a bit of a break at the moment, but singer, songwriter, and keyboardist Andrew McMahon (a.k.a. Jack’s Mannequin) still has too many ideas in his head waiting to get out.
Jack’s Mannequin is Andrew’s side project, and he recently released the infectious, smart, and very personal CD Everything in Transit under the alias. Jack’s Mannequin allows Andrew to explore new musical territory. Everything In Transit is actually a concept album that explores an alienating return to the hometown the songwriter left to pursue his music, and the dissolution of a long, meaningful relationship because of it.
Jack’s Mannequin will perform at The Loft on Tuesday, October 14th at 7:30 p.m. with Eric Hutcherson and Treaty of Paris opening.
