Q & A with Tesla Rossa opening for MUTEMATH for Winter Wonder Jam Sat., Dec. 22nd

More Tennessee natives, Tesla Rossa, has claimed one of the opening spots for the last week of Winter Wonder Jam at Atlantic Station this weekend. Yes, these guys are indie rock, but they also through some garage into the mix as well.  The guys took some time to talk to us here at AMG.  Below is what they had to say before their Winter Wonder Jam Show!

What is the strangest thing a fan has done for you? or at your show?
UK fan sent us guitarosaries doused in her perfume. (Yes, that is a rosary with a guitar on it.)

What is the funniest moment you have had as an artist/band so far?
When Joseph hooked up with our landlord at the time.

Do you have any pre-show rituals?
Sometimes we get Mexican food.

If you could describe your music in one word, what would it be?
Fortified.

How do you connect with a crowd?
When a crowd is listening to us play our music it is the only music they are experiencing at that time. The listener finds what they can connect to in that moment. We try to convey the emotion of each song the best we can…including the moments when we just want you to party.

How did you come up with your band name?
Combined a notable scientists name, with the name of a famous car. A car with a name that means redhead. All good things.

What is the best way to write music?
Honestly. You have to write about what you know. A farmer who sings about his chickens is more interesting and entertaining than an uneducated lie.
