Rival operates from Center Stage Atlanta – home to Center Stage Theater, The Loft and Vinyl—where the Rival crew produces 350+ shows annually. Beyond Center Stage’s doors, we also create live music events and work on behalf of clients to execute their event vision, whether on a city street, in a park, on private property or in a traditional venue. These locations include Centennial Olympic Park, Infinite Energy Center, The Fox Theatre, Cobb Energy Performing Arts Center, Candler Park, Piedmont Park, Historic Fourth Ward Park and more. THE MARKETING MANAGER ROLE:

Marketing Manager reports to the company’s partners and manages all company, venue and show marketing.

The Marketing Manager will…

Be creative and resourceful in executing concert marketing plans

Manage related budgets and track/allocate spending

Lead the company’s brand promotion and create brand identities for new events

Connect with our audience via digital, social, media and grassroots strategies

Communicate Rival Entertainment’s and Center Stage’s voice

Additionally, the Marketing Manager will: Be a good fit

  • Be familiar with the Greater Atlanta, GA entertainment and media market
  • Be familiar with live concert and/or venue marketing
  • Be an avid music and live event fan
  • Be a self-starter, independent worker, multi-tasker and team contributor
  • Be technologically confident. Social media fluency required. Knowledge of graphic design, HTML, WordPress, CAD, and video editing is highly regarded Promote shows, engage fans, drive ticket sales
  • Create and implement marketing plans, manage budgets and marketing strategies for all Rival Entertainment promoted shows
  • Liaison with venue clients to optimize promotional messaging for rental events
  • Have experience negotiating and buying media, including digital, social, print & radio
  • Be the smartest social media marketer on our team and bring experience in social media promotion strategy, new social platform integration and messaging

Get to know our audience and how to engage them

  • Analyze website and social media data, discover trends and create goals
  • Maintain email database of 200,000+ customers and develop email marketing strategy
  • Develop advertising and revenue opportunities with marketing assets
  • Develop strategy for use of ticketing platform (TicketMaster, TicketAlternative) marketing resources

Be our voice

  • Manage website and social media content
  • Create and distribute press releases and manage relationships with media
  • Coordinate grass roots promotion strategies and manage street team
  • Coordinate in-venue / in-show marketing opportunities
  • Work with talent buyers and artist managers to create show-specific promotion campaigns and marketing plans
  • Coordinate with other department managers to establish cross-departmental protocols
  • Coordinate with Artist publicists for show press opportunities

Manage graphic design and website development A candidate with graphic design and web development skills will be highly regarded. Experience in managing sub-contracted designers and web projects will also be considered

  • Create logos and brand looks for new events
  • Design event themes, promotional campaigns and signage
  • Build event websites
  • Localize artist-provided graphics and customize Rival use

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Experience in entertainment industry and show marketing
  • Strong computer skills
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently, in a team situation and in a fast paced event environment. Be versatile!
  • Have an extensive music knowledge and interest
