On June 2, 2025, Shakira graced Atlanta's State Farm Arena with a performance that
left fans exhilarated and craving more. This marked her first headlining concert in
Atlanta since 2006, making it a monumental event for both the artist and her devoted
fans.
The “Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran” tour showcased a masterful blend of Shakira’s timeless
classics and her latest hits. From the infectious rhythms of “Hips Don’t Lie” to the
poignant melodies of “Acróstico” the setlist was a testament to her versatility and
enduring appeal. The crowd was treated to over 20 songs, each delivered with the
passion and precision that Shakira is renowned for.
The highlight of the night was a roof-shaking performance of “Pies Descalzos, Suenos
Blancos”, her first hit in Latin America. A treat for long-time fans, Shakira belted out the
rock-influenced track while running barefoot across the stage. At one point, Shakira let
the fans sing the chorus and she became overwhelmed by the audience response to
one of her earliest songs.
The stage design was nothing short of spectacular. A multi-level structure with ramps,
platforms, and catwalks allowed Shakira to connect intimately with her audience.
Dynamic lighting and giant LED screens enhanced the experience, displaying
captivating visuals and live feeds that kept the energy high throughout the night. Back
up dancers and an incredibly talented band assisted her in keeping the energy and the
fans enraptured, particularly during a robot inspired performance of recent hit “Te
Felicito”.
Shakira’s interaction with the audience was a highlight of the evening. She spoke in a
mix of English and Spanish, energizing the crowd with stories, words of encouragement
and cheeky nods to her recent personal struggles. The arena buzzed with energy, as
fans of all ages sang and danced along, united by their admiration for the pop icon.
Shakira’s Atlanta concert was more than just a performance; it was a celebration of
music, culture, connection and the endurance of the female spirit. Her ability to blend
powerful storytelling with electrifying choreography created an unforgettable experience
for all in attendance. As one attendee aptly put it, “Shakira sang most of her best hits
with hardly any breaks at all for 2 hours straight with amazing dance moves and vocals”.
The night was a testament to her 30+ year career and an announcement that there is a
reason she is the icon she is today: hard work, talent and an unbreakable soul.
For those who missed this spectacular show, “Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran” tour
continues to captivate audiences worldwide. Don't miss the chance to witness Shakira’s
magic live in concert.
