Lots of festivals have been announced now that life has opened up some post-pandemic, all of them putting together what looks like piece-meal lineups. But Shoals Fest, a collaboration of Jason Isbell, his manager Traci Thomas, and Outback Presents, called on friends and favorites to come play, and it’s one hell of a lineup.
The second year music festival includes all sorts of musical goodness like Jason Isbell and The 400 Unit; Lucinda Williams, Drive-By Truckers, Candi Staton, Amanda Shires, Centro-Matic, Slobberbone, Cedric Burnside, Pine Hill Haints, and Farmer Jason (Jason from Jason & the Scorchers). It’s being held Oct. 2-3 at McFarland Park, in Florence, Alabama.
Only 7,000 tickets will be sold. Tickets are on sale now. General admission ($99.50) and VIP ($499.50) two-day tickets can be purchased via shoalsfest.showticks.com.
