Those Texan boys really love indie record stores. First they announce that they will be stopping by Criminal Records in Little Five Points for a free instore on February 24 at 7 p.m. before playing their gig at The EARL that night (get your tickets here!).
Now And You Will Know Us By The Trail Of Dead are giving away their first single from upcoming record The Century of Self for free on the Record Store Day website. The track, "Isis Unveiled," will be available for download for 24 hours starting at midnight tonight on www.recordstoreday.com, the website set up to spread awareness of the annual event meant to bring awareness and support this nation's indie record stores. Record Store Day isn't until April, but the band will be in Europe then, so they're getting their support in a little early.
Make sure you follow suit and visit your own local record store often and with an open wallet!
