Weezer bring The Gathering tour to State Farm Arena in Atlanta on Saturday, October 10, with special guests The Shins and Silversun Pickups.
The Atlanta stop lands in the middle of a packed fall run for the band and pairs one of alternative rock’s most recognizable catalogs with two strong support acts. State Farm Arena lists doors at 6 PM, with the show starting at 7 PM.
The tour arrives as Weezer prepares for another self-titled album, the band’s 20th studio record. According to the band’s publicist, the new album was created with Klas Åhlund and Kenneth Blume and includes songwriting contributions from three of Weezer’s four members.
For Atlanta fans, the bill is as notable as the headliner. The Shins and Silversun Pickups join Weezer for the night, making this one of the stronger alternative-rock arena lineups on the fall calendar.
