What’s Up Thursday?

So, be honest, who played the Drinking Game during the presidential debates? I did not, but I watched and I think we are going to have a lot of hungover people this morning! It’s Thursday, the new Friday, so go out and do something fun.

Allen Stone has shot up the R&B/Soul charts on iTunes, peaking at the number 2 spot, and hit #9 and #62 on the Billboard Heatseekers and R&B/Hip Hop Album charts, respectively, and has garnered national praise. See him tonight at The Loft.

-According to their bio, Makeshift Prodigy “is the music people live to.” Make up your own mind tonight at Vinyl.

-The artists known as Almighty Dolla, Johnny BOI and Nem collectively make up the group EDUBB (pronounced E-Dubb). With more than 1 million YouTube views for their Official “Whooty” video, and over 6 million “Whooty” related YouTube views, the guys even garnered mentions of their work on TMZ two times. Obviously gonna be a crazy time at Smith’s Olde Bar tonight.

-Driving gypsy jazz rhythms, acoustic guitars, upright bass and violin lay the foundation for mesmerizing vocal harmonies and fantastic stories. It’s theatrical and humorous, and Caravan of Thieves will be at Eddie’s Attic tonight.

First Aid Kit is a Swedish folk duo composed of sisters Johanna and Klara Söderberg, whose close vocal harmonies and woodsy, folk-influenced songwriting take influence from the likes of Fleet Foxes and Joanna Newsom. They are playing The Buckhead Theater tonight.
