Grammy Award winning R&B singer Maxwell rose to fame in the mid-90’s soon after his debut Maxwell’s Urban Hang Suite was released. A key player in the development of the sub-genre known as neo-soul (Lauryn Hill, Erykah Badu, Angie Stone, Jill Scott) Maxwell has since released a total of four full-length records.
After nearly a decade since his previous album, Maxwell’s 2009 BLACKsummernight‘s debuted at #1 on the Billboard Top 200 and won best R&B Album at the 2010 Grammy Awards.
On tour this summer, Maxwell will be performing in Atlanta at Phillips Arena on Friday, June 11 with Erykah Badu and on Saturday, June 12 with Jill Scott – GET TICKETS HERE.
