  1. The main attraction of the Wednesday WindDown was the FREE music. People could go there relax and listen to the FREE music. Now you have to stand in line to buy a ticket, stand in another line to have your bags checked. Last Wednesday was terrible, small crowd, people sitting OUTSIDE the gate. Even after it was over, they still would not let you into the park. Thanks Mayor, thanks Chamber of Commerce for taking something we all have enjoyed for years and try to make a profit off of us.

  2. Why are ya charging!!!! Atlanta claims to be a fun city….well its starting to look more like the city that sucks …..why are they charging for an event that was so much fun and cultural for so many..young, old, bkack, white, etc..smh ….I pray this backfires. .this was the the one event so many Atlantans looked forward to going to that would not stress them or their pocketbook out!

  3. I haven’t been since the recent for profit agenda and won’t go anymore.
It’s a fundraiser now, they finally figured out how to ruin yet another FREE cultural experience. First parking, then ticket prices, finally can’t bring my own food & bev.
I hope it moves outta Fulton…!!!

  4. are you having wine down Wednesday Centennial Park today

  5. I LIVED IN ATLANTA AREA FROM 1997-2010;WED. WINEDOWN WAS A RITUALS TO MYSELF.IT WAS WHERE I’D RELEASE THE DAY’S FRUSTRATIONS,LISTEN TO MUSIC,INTERACT WITH PEOPLE AND HAVE A GREAT TIME,BEFORE HEADING HOME AND PREPARING FOR THE DAY COMING AHEAD.N0W THAT

  6. Now I want to return to ATLANTA,I’LL HAVE TO PAY FOR THAT WHICH STARTED AS A FREE COMMUNITY VENUE..WHERE MONEY WAS MADE THROUGH CONCESSIONS,DONATIONS,AND GRANT’S PROVIDED BY TAXES PAID BY THE COMMUNITY.
VOTE FOR FREE WINE DOWN WEDNESDAY

  7. CHANGE IT BACK TO FREE. You’ve taken the spirit out of it!

  8. It’s free in Douglasville

  9. It’s free in east point

  10. Wednesday Winddown is not managed by the city of Atlanta so I don’t know who would be the proper parties to complain to about the event. But the park is managed by the World Congress Center.

  11. I didn’t know you had to pay for it now? What happened to free it was better that way. It’s not windown anymore!

  12. Is WWD back for 2019?

  13. Your dates for Wednesday wind down are wrong they all are dated for Monday’s none of the dates are for Wed is this a type O

  14. Hey! This article is from 2015 so the dates are correct.

  15. What is free in ga anymore during weekdays and weekend’s

  16. SO IS IT MONDAY OR WEDNESDAYS——- REALLY LOOKING FORWARD TO GOING

  17. What is the itinerary for 2019 with correct dates and artists?

  18. Right now we do not have information on that

  19. This article was published in 2015 and we have no new information if this event will happen in 2019

  20. Why is Wednesday Wind down being cancelled this year

  21. East Point Wednesday Wind Down is free.

  22. Why events start off being free, get us all in our emotions then switch it up by charging the people a fee whereas this should be free due to its location at a Public area….not right at all Atlanta!!

So whats the agenda for 2020?!

  23. That’s why move away because they started charging I can’t afford it . praying that the winddownwindnesday be free again
