What’s Up Monday?

Oh the weather outside is….well not frightful, but it is definitely getting a little chilly! Whatcha want to do tonight Atlanta? Might I suggest one of these fun events?

-Legendary rockers, The Who, play 1972’s Quadrophenia in its entirety tonight at the Arena at Gwinnett Center.

-“When the Fresh and Onlys’ released Long Slow Dance in September via Brooklyn’s Mexican Summer, the record arrived as a cleaner and more powerful batch of songs than anyone could have expected, lifting the fog from the Bay Area foursome’s haunting, psych-rock excursions. Boston’s Quilt and Atlanta’s Carnivores open.” CL. See them tonight at 529.

-Referring to the old John Waters adage asserting entertainment is inseparable from bad taste, few bands exercise that sentiment to the degree of Ssion. Ssion (pronounced “shun”) is a ten-years-strong art-punk dance/design/film collective from Kansas City, Missouri, headed by Cody Critcheloe. Catch him tonight at The Earl.

-Don’t forget about your locals! Head to Eddie’s Attic for Songwriter’s Open Mic Night.

-For a little twang in your life, you can head to Terminal West for Reckless Kelly and the Dirty River Boys.
