5GB Interview: The Milk Carton Kids; Playing @ Eddie’s Attic 4/18!

With their new album, The Ash & Clay out and a 27-date tour, the Milk Carton Kids are on top of their game.

Starting the tour today in Nashville, the duo will make their way to Eddie’s Attic in Decatur tomorrow night for 2 shows! We caught up with the guys as they were preparing for the tour.

What’s the first gig you ever attended?

Rolling Stones at Dodger Stadium. Bridges To Babylon tour with Wallflowers opening.

 

What is the best gig that you ever performed?

Calgary. EPCOR Center for the Performing Arts opening for KD Lang. That, and our second time headlining at Largo in Los Angeles – the nerves from our first time there had died down and we played for two and a half hours to our hometown crowd.

What is the best gig you have ever seen?

It’s a tie between about 30 different shows, mostly in clubs around Los Angeles and New York.

Gig you would most like to play?

The Ryman.

What would be the lineup for your dream gig?

Evening with.
