5GB With The Lone Bellow; Playing Eddie’s Attic, Dec. 11th

THE LONE BELLOW, a rustic Brooklyn trio with bluesy gospel influences, discover the age-old wisdom behind “nice guys finish last” in their video for “You Never Need Nobody.” Soulful vocalist Zach Williams can’t catch his girl’s attention, probably because she’s never known what it’s like to be lonely. Along with Kanene Pipkin (mandolin, vocals) and Brian Elmquist (guitar, vocals), the band cozies up to an open fire to wring every last drop of heartache out of the lyrics. If their weathered brand of Americana warms your hearth, look for their self-titled album early next year. – CMT.com They joined us before their show tonight.
