Crooked Fingers announce 2027 tour opener at Eddie’s Attic and Dignity and Shame vinyl reissue

Crooked Fingers’ full-band tour opens at Eddie’s Attic in Decatur on January 29, 2027, as Dignity and Shame returns to vinyl.

Eric Bachmann is taking Crooked Fingers back out with a full band, and metro Atlanta gets the opening night. The 2027 tour begins January 29 at Eddie’s Attic in Decatur, with Julia Barfield supporting, according to Merge Records’ tour announcement.

The dates follow Swet Deth, released earlier this year, and bring Bachmann’s revived project into clubs across the country through March. Barfield joins the January and February shows; Jim Ward takes over for the March leg.

Dignity and Shame returns to vinyl

There is an archival reason to pay attention, too. Merge is reissuing 2005’s Dignity and Shame as a remastered double LP, with two vinyl-only bonus tracks and a gatefold sleeve. The label’s store lists an expected shipping date of January 29, 2027. Black vinyl is available to preorder from Merge, with a red-and-yellow edition announced for the tour.

For listeners who came back to Crooked Fingers through Swet Deth, the reissue offers another route into Bachmann’s catalogue. For longtime followers, it puts the record containing “Sleep All Summer” and “Call to Love” back on the turntable.

Decatur show and on-sale

Merge’s announcement lists Crooked Fingers with Julia Barfield at Eddie’s Attic on Friday, January 29, 2027, with tickets going on sale Friday, October 30, 2026, at noon local time—noon Eastern for Decatur.
