Umphrey’s McGee @ The Tabernacle

Progressive jam-rock band Umphrey’s McGee will be doing a 5-night run at The Tabernacle from Tuesday, Dec. 30 – Saturday, Jan. 3. The New Year’s Eve show will certainly be the highlight of the run – a live experience you won’t want to miss.

Tickets are $70. Doors open at 7pm.

Railroad Earth @ Variety Playhouse

Railroad Earth, the roots and Americana-based newgrass band from Stillwater, NJ, will be returning to the beautiful Variety Playhouse for a three night run Monday, Dec. 29 – Wednesday, Dec. 31. A fantastic live show full of live improvisation, a good dose of bluegrass, and just enough theatrics to ensure a fun New Year’s celebration.

Tickets are $50 advance, $55 day of show. Doors open at 8pm.

Michelle Malone @ Eddie’s Attic

Atlanta native Michelle Malone is “equal parts badass guitar slinger and sweet songstress” (Guitar World). Her mastery of guitar, along with her trademark voice and songwriting skills have earned her many awards including two Grammy nominations. Her show at Eddie’s Attic in Decatur, GA is sure to be a wonderfully intimate experience to ring the new year in with.

Tickets are $30 advance, $35 at the door. There will be two shows on Dec. 31: 7pm & 9:45pm.

Futurebirds @ The Buckhead Theatre

Georgia Theatre and Terminal West present Athens band Futurebirds, who master laid-back country-rock with an atmospheric, psychedelic twist. The six-piece band will bring their refreshing live energy to the Buckhead Theatre for their own version of a New Year’s show. This show is for ages 18+.

Tickets are $26 advance, $31 day of show. Doors open at 8pm.

New Year’s w/ The Biters! w/Dinos Boys, Ravagers & MammaBear @ The EARL

Another Atlanta band, The Biters are gonna rock your face off at The EARL for their “Spew Year’s Eve” show with guests Dinos Boys, Ravagers and MammaBear. As musician and producer Nico Constantine says, “If Tom Petty was assaulted by the Sex Pistols while Stiv Bator was pouring the drinks, that scene would approximate the sound of the Biters.” This show will be for ages 21+.

Tickets are $10. Doors open at 9pm.
