Here’s a quick look at the best shows and events happening in Atlanta this weekend Thursday, December 19th through Sunday, December 22nd!
A Charlie Brown Christmas At The EARL
Friday, December 20th – Sunday, December 22nd at 8:30pm
For the 12th year, Jeffrey Bützer and T.T. Mahony with Mike Beshera and a small chorus of guest singers will perform Guaraldi’s score to A Charlie Brown Christmas with a spirit only fitting of Charlie Brown himself. By relying both on an honest presentation of Guaraldi’s intentions for the record and enough improvisation to keep their jazz credibility in check, the trio are in finer form each year. There is perhaps no better Christmas album than this 40-minute score featuring all the hushed, memorable, but often melancholy undertones that define the holiday. And there is perhaps no better band performing it than Bützer, Mahony, and Beshera. As with years past, this show finds the trio pulling out a few extra surprises to make these shows ones to remember. This year, the trio will augment their lineup to also perform selections from Phil Spector’s seminal LP A Christmas Gift For You.
FRI AND SAT ARE SOLD OUT! Sunday is selling fast now that the other two are gone.

All The Locals w/ Zach Cambria present “A Holiday in ATL”
Saturday, December 21st at 7:00pm
“Everybody likes a new groove or place to hangout…So, why not where the locals go? Atlanta-based, All The Locals (hence the acronym ATL), are shaped and molded out of the very bricks that make up their southern metropolis. With a soulful back bone, a rock n’ roll attitude, and a shaky blues breakdown of heartfelt lyrics, written by John Schmarkey, these 6 locals, including their unique horn section and crew, bring out the best of Atlanta’s real image.” -Ga Ent.
