Benefit for Josh Yoder of Jungol at The Earl tonight

Josh Yoder of Jungol

Josh Yoder of Jungol has been battling a cancerous brain tumor.

The event page on Facebook says:

In June of 2015, Josh’s busy life was interrupted by a seizure which led to the diagnosis. On July 27, he had about 70 percent of the egg-sized tumor removed. Josh is now going through radiation treatment. When that is complete, he will begin chemotherapy. Our hope is that this aggressive treatment plan eradicates the tumor and the cancer cells that are infiltrating the brain tissue. Josh has moved home with his family and is completely focused on getting through the treatments and getting well! If you know Josh, you know what a productive guy he is and that he will not allow this disease to stop his flow. Times are tough but he’s kicking its ass.

Josh has been an integral part of the music and arts scene in Atlanta, and we want to show him our love during a one night benefit concert in his honor. Proceeds from the show will go to helping Josh with high medical bills that are incurred in the treatment process. Providing support are our friends Stokeswood, The Boy Jones, Today the Moon Tomorrow the Sun, and The Locksmyth have all agreed to contribute to the evening at our favorite place to play, The Earl. There will be lots of fun surprises and guests. This is sure to be an amazingly great event and we are already excited about it!
