David Wax Museum is known for unique, uptempo instrumentation featuring driving synthesizer, a quijada (a donkey’s jawbone), keys, and Suz Slezak’s frenetic fiddle-laying. It’s a show that gets the crowd moving and was labelled a Newport Folk Fest breakout act by Paste, while being called “pure irresistible joy” by NPR’s Bob Boilen.
