In an interesting change for Rialto (other than the odd non-jazz or non-world act), Janelle Monae will be performing at the Georgia State arts venue on April 3. She'll be bringing Atlanta buzz-band Tendaberry with her, who are planning on releasing their new record Am I Still Illmatic (produced by Black Kids' producer Jesse Mangum at Athens' glow studios) in May.
