Know Before You Go: Shaky Knees Festival @ Central Park 5/8-5/10

It’s finally here! One of the most anticipated music weekends of the year, the third annual Shaky Knees Festival will commence tomorrow at high noon. We want everyone to be as prepared as possible for what is sure to be one of the greatest weekends of our lives, so here’s everything you need to know before you go:

Tickets

Tickets are still available, but going fast! Head to shakykneesfestival.com now to purchase tickets before you go. General admission tickets include admission to the festival. VIP tickets include special viewing areas to all stages, complimentary beer and water, cash liquor bars, complimentary lunch and dinner appetizers, and private restrooms.

Single Day General Admission – $99 + fees
3-Day General Admission – $215 + fees
Single Day VIP Tickets – $225 + fees
3-Day VIP Tickets – $599 + fees

Box Office

The Shaky Knees Box Office will be located at the Atlanta Civic Center at the corner of Piedmont Avenue and Ralph McGill Blvd. It will be open for both wristband redemption and ticket sales.

Thursday, May 7 10AM-8PM
Friday, May 8 to Sunday, May 10 9AM-festival close

Festival Hours

Friday, May 8 – Sunday, May 10: Gates open at 12PM, Music starts at 12:30PM, ends at 11PM.

What To Bring:

  • Sunscreen
  • Small Backpack, subject to search
  • An Empty Water Bottle (or factory sealed) – there will be multiple water stations around the festival

What NOT To Bring:

  • Weapons of any kind
  • Illegal substances (including narcotics) or drug paraphernalia
  • Alcohol
  • Glowsticks
  • Glass containers
  • Outside food/beverages
  • Skateboards
  • Motorized carts or scooters unless ADA verified
  • Large chains or spiked jewelry (spikes longer than 3/4 of an inch will be confiscated)
  • Fireworks/Firecrackers
  • Umbrellas
  • Chairs of any kind
  • Coolers of any size
  • Tents or canopies of any kind
  • Pets (except service dogs)
  • Professional camera and video/audio recording equipment
  • No unauthorized/unlicensed vendors allowed

Transportation

We strongly recommend taking public transportation, biking, or utilizing Uber/Lyft to Shaky Knees. If you choose to drive, parking will not be available onsite at Shaky Knees. There are many paid lots in the area. Click here for more info on available parking decks in the area with pricing. Please note that the Civic Center parking lot will be in use as festival grounds.

If you choose to take MARTA, you will need to take the train headed South or North and get off at the CIVIC CENTER or NORTH AVENUE station.
