What’s Up Monday?

Happy Labor Day Everyone! Hopefully you all have slept in this morning on this rainy day, and are getting ready for another day off. There are a ton of cool events happening today, here’s a few to check out.

-By far the coolest event happening today is the Red Bull Soundclash, featuring Atlanta’s own Ludacris as he battles with indie darlings, Neon Trees at the World Congress Center. Battling it to cover songs and originals, this is definitely going to be a great time.

-Head over to Smith’s Olde Bar tonight to get your fill of “Watermelon, Chicken, and Gritz” with Kentucky rappers, Nappy Roots.

-All of the devote Pitchforkians will be at The Earl tonight for synth-lovers, Active Child and Com Truise.

The Masquerade might just have to be your after party tonight with the amount of talent rocking the stages of the afterlife tonight. Catch the Grandson of Badasses, Hank III, as he blisters out songs from his new album. Or, you can go downstairs into Hell, to catch Hawthorne Heights rocking it out with local boys Death is a Dialogue.

-Who doesn’t love a good Weezer cover band?? At the 529 you can catch local rockers, Tracer Metula cover Pinkerton, in it’s entirety to celebrate the album’s 15th anniversary.
