Patterson Hood & The Downtown Rumblers @ Eddie’s Attic

Worn out from having spent a year on tour and facing a new album’s release, Patterson Hood decided to write a book. In writing this book, the songs continued to pour out, taking a few left turns and then morphing into its own thing. Eventually turning into Heat Lightning Rumbles in the Distance, the album is in some ways the most personal album he has ever made.

Doors at 6:30pm. General admission tickets are $20 in advance or $26 at the door. Table seats are $25 in advance or $31 at the door and must be purchased in multiples of 4. Online and phone sales close at 5pm.

Hugh Cornwell @ Smith’s Olde Bar

Hugh Cornwell is one of the UK’s finest songwriting talents and accomplished live performers.  As the original guitarist, singer and main songwriter in the British rock band The Stranglers, he’s enjoyed massive UK and European success with 10 hit albums and 21 Top Forty singles. To accompany his newest album release, Hugh embarks on a full North American tour to feature new songs, as well as classic Stranglers material.
