New Year’s Eve is finally here! We’ve got plenty of local events going on today, ranging from live music to themed parties, so there’s something for everyone. Ring in 2014 in style- 1960s style! Join us on tonight for an elegant evening of dancing, DJs, and champagne to say hello to 2014 the right way. Experience The Basement in true 1960s fashion! Put your best 1960s threads on and look sharp, this is New Year’s Eve we’re talking about! Dress up. Get down. Let’s twist into 2014!

A Roarin’ 20s New Years Eve @ Cook Hall at the W Hotel Buckhead

Ring in the New Year Gatsby style with Cook Hall’s Second Annual New Year’s Eve Bash. This Prohibition-style party will include complimentary bites, a Midnight champagne toast, and party favors for all. DJ Hakim will be spinning and a we’ll also have photo booth to capture all of your New Year’s memories.

Gringo Star are insouciant explorers, tossing the paddles overboard and drifting on the currents of their lackadaisical curiosity across a rippling sonic ocean, out to the far edges of rock & roll. New Years Eve with Michelle Malone @ Eddie’s Attic

Michelle Malone delivers the fierce spirit that gets you through the darkest stretches of night, pulling you up out of bed into dawn’s first pulsing glow. Seated at a vivid green kitchen table, black coffee steaming in your mug, Malone plays for you on a beat up acoustic guitar, her voice ringing clear and rich over the mellowed strings. You know you’ve come home and you know this time, you never want to leave.

Zach Deputy demonstrates his extraordinary ability to perform and record in multiple contexts and conveys the sensibilities of a mature singer/songwriter. Another Day offers another look at Zach Deputy and seeks to help him cross over into other audiences.
