Benefit for The Sean Costello Memorial Fund for Bipolar Research on March 1

SeanCostello

Atlanta blues musician Sean Costello died in the spring of last year, on the eve of his 29th birthday, and is greatly missed. His family later revealed that Costello suffered from Bipolar disorder, and founded the Sean Costello Memorial Fund for Bipolar Research. The organization will hold its first benefit this March, just after the release of his posthumous record We Can Get Together, due out February 19.

The concert will be held on March 1 at North Atlanta High Center for the Arts and will include live music from Lurrie Bell (2008 Living Blues Awards for Blues Artist of the Year and Most Outstanding Guitarist), The Wood Brothers (debut disc named one of National Public Radio’s top 10 discoveries of 2006), King Johnson, Felix and the Cats with Jon Liebman and the Soul Shakers. There will also be a silent auction and food and drinks for you to buy – which you should, as well as giving lots more donations to the fund! Buy your tickets now here.
