We'd reported earlier on a show with Janelle Monae, Tendaberry and more at Rialto Center for the Arts on April 3 (tonight). We've just got word that the show has been canceled, though we're not sure what the reason is yet. From Janelle's blog:
disappointment that I must announce the cancellation of my performance
Friday night, April 3rd at the Rialto Theatre in Atlanta.
I have never had to cancel a performance, but unfortunately the cancellation is the result of circumstances beyond my control.
I
sincerely apologize to those that planned to attend and support me and
the other wonderful artists. It's been a long time since I've performed
in Atlanta, and I was looking forward to having fun and giving my
supporters a sneak peek of the new tunes from Suites II & III.
Plans
are being made to reschedule the performance in the near future. Please
stay tuned for details and I look forward to seeing and meeting you
then.
