Most Wild New Years Of All: The Constellations Play Smith’s Olde Bar – Q&A with The Higher Choir

By Eileen Tilson/ @tktalt_tn

Yes I suppose you could be with the tons of people who will be at some sort of big bash, getting shoved around by the smelly guy next to you…or you could be in Smith’s Olde Bar having their annual wildest New Year’s Eve party ever! Back by popular demand, Atlanta’s own, The Constellations, will be headlining the craziest dance party in the city. Joining them are another Atlanta fave, The Higher Choir, who chatted with us about just what they are looking forward to in the new year.

What has been your favorite thing about 2011?
My favorite part about this year has definitely been moving back to Atlanta!
What was your biggest regret of 2011?
Biggest regret this year is  not playing with my ol’ band The Drag this year for our anniversary.
What is your new year’s resolution?
My resolution for 2012 is to get rich or die trying.
What are you most looking forward to in 2012?
I am really looking forward to doing some more Higher Choir projects..
According to the Mayan calendar, this is the last year of the world? If true, what is the one thing you want to accomplish most?
I’m a husband, a dad, a son, a brother, a priest, a sanger and a libertarian so I’m good going out like that!
Merry Christmas, Happy New Year!
Love,
Rev. Chance Walls
