What’s Up Tuesday?

Do you believe that you can wish for good news? That literally if you put all of your mental energy on something that it will appear? Let’s all be in that mentality today, shall we? It’s a quiet night in the city this eve, so if you don’t want to watch any more of the Olympics, here are your options:

-There’s a strong trio of singer-songwriters at Eddie’s Attic tonight. Head over to Decatur to see Marc Scibilia with special guests, Sydney Rhame & Matt Vaughan.

-70’s vintage art-rockers, YES are playing tonight at Verizon Wireless Amphitheater, with progrock act Procol Harum as openers.

-Is it hardcore punk? Is it heavy metal? Indianapolis rockers, The Contortionist, are at the Masquerade tonight.

-“After leaving El Bar somewhere in the neighborhood of four to five years ago and never really finding a new home, Triple D’s Rock Night returns at 529. A bunch of local rock dudes spin records between sets by Nashville’s noise/garage punks Cy Barkley and Atlanta’s Acid Freaks.” –Creative Loafing
